Mercedes-Benz 140 Years, 140 Places Global Tour comes to Brisbane

140 YEARS, 140 PLACES GLOBAL TOUR COMES TO BRISBANE !

In collaboration with our friends in Mercedes-Benz Australia-Pacific, a ‘Cars & Coffee’ style event has been planned, with a range of high end classic vehicles spanning across the decades on display. Importantly, Mercedes-Benz Australia-Pacific are bringing a yet-to-be released LHD S-Class as part of the 140 Years drive, with some colleagues available from Germany to talk to.   Mercedes-Benz will also be extending invitations to some of their valued customers to come and check out our vehicles and enjoy the experiences available.

Mercedes-Benz has asked our club to provide a display of 50 well-presented cars, which are pre-1996.   

Coffee and afternoon tea has been arranged, as well as the opportunity for members to experience a few of the vehicles through some dynamic exercises, These will include the newly released CLA, some fun on the skid-pan and potentially even a hotlap!  Attendees will also receive a small Mercedes-Benz gift pack which includes a special 140 Years pin.

For those who have not yet registered as well as those who already have, please note that we have received further information from the organisers.  They have clarified as follows:

• This event is only open to invitees and those members who have registered.  It is not open to the public or casual attendees.
• Due to limitations of the venue, catering facilities/costs and the available time, it may not be possible for everyone to participate in all the activities planned for the afternoon. 
• Members are thus kindly requested not to bring guests if possible. We apologise for not advising this prior to you registering.
• The Mercedes-Benz gift packs will be allocated to each car, not per attendee.
